Amherst Heritage House

After being donated a house by an avid collector of local history and the objects of everyday life, the Lorain County historical society engaged Romano & Min Projects to help turn a residential home into a historic site that can both serve the needs of the local community and honor the donor’s vision. We are consulting with community organizations and local stakeholders; assessing the state of the house, its grounds, and the collections; and digging into the large archive left by the home’s owner. Over the course of the next six months, we will be working with the staff of the Lorain County Historical Society to define a vision for the house and to develop an actionable plan to bring that vision to fruition.
